Beautiful summer’s day maternity shoot (continued)!
Summer this year has been so incredibly busy - I've barely had time to keep up with my blog posts! This gorgeous Mamma-to-be came by for her maternity shoot back in June, and gosh, did she photograph well!
Most Mammas-to-be aren't feeling their best when they're 8 months pregnant - but this beautiful lady proved that trend wrong! She was a natural in front of the camera, and took my breath away with every shutter click.
As usual with my maternity sessions, we started off in the studio with some traditional Mum & Dad shots:
We then went for a little walk to my "secret location" where we got some stunning outdoor shots!
As our shoot was at 1pm, the sun was at its highest point in the sky when we went outdoors - and this is usually every photographer's worst nightmare. Harsh sunlight casts unflattering shadows on even the best models, and this day was no exception.
Thankfully, I had taken my off-camera flash with me, which provided a bit of extra light to lift those dark shadows on her face, meaning we could continue taking irresistible photos!
I love it when clients request the full bump to baby package - there are no words to describe the importance of leaving your legacy behind in photos that will become a family heirloom, treasured by their children & grandchildren for years to come. Check out the next part of this story here:
